Dear Curious Visitor,

Whether you discovered this web address through recommendation, coincidence, misdirection, or simple curiosity, the result is ultimately the same: you have found your way to the Office of Extraordinary Places.

For many years, the Office of Extraordinary Places has quietly maintained a growing archive of remarkable destinations. Some are celebrated landmarks, others are nearly forgotten. A few exist only in the memories of those fortunate enough to have encountered them.

Beginning soon, registered correspondents will be invited to receive monthly dispatches by post and become participants in the ongoing work to maintain careful materials.

The first files are currently being organized, reviewed, and prepared for release.

Until that time, the archives remain closed to the public.

Should you wish to receive notice when enrollment opens, you may submit your name to the Correspondent Registry below.

The Office has long observed that meaningful work behaves much like a beaver constructing a dam in a determined river. No sooner is one section completed than the water politely suggests several additional improvements. Our work continues on.

There are still stations to document. Landscapes to preserve. Buildings to study. Stories to collect.

Remain curious, and above all—stay extraordinary.
